Altamente recomendado.(Original)I was just passing through town a couple months ago and chose this place for food and drink. Good choice. They weren't bust at all, and the bartender made sure that I ad a good time and made great recommendations.I had the Trout Spread, served with warm Naan. Very good. Although it was more food than I needed, I followed up with a Reuben sandwich (The Stout). Also very good. For beers, my favorites were the PegLeg Porter and the Empyreal Raspberry Porter. Highly recommended.

I loved the atmosphere. The local brews of their own were really good and definitely very well priced. Tried a flight of 5 of their beers plus had a couple others by themselves and I enjoyed every one of them. The burger I tried was so good and the service was not only very friendly but extremely prompt. So basically a really great experience all the way around. Definitely recommend the place and I definitely plan to come back.

No tenía sabor a hamburguesa recién asada o recién hecha. I went to this restaurant and ordered their burger with potato wedges. The burger wasn't a meal somthe wedges and drink had to be ordered separately- I found that weird. I asked for the burger to be medium well. The food came quickly. The wedges I dipped in honey mustard sauce (which was an extra fee to which I wasn't notified of when I was ordering), they were really good though. The burger reminded me of school burgers that they already have prepared in the hot water bath until they serve you. It didn't have a freshly grilled or just made burger taste. I didn't care for the taste and texture of the burger. I was a little nauseated after a few bites of the burger. Just the taste of it. The sweet tea was really good and I didn't know it until I left but the receipt said you get free refills. The restaurant was clean. Seating available outside too and it was covered seating. There was a gravel lot where merchants were selling hand made items and a band was playing outside.

I've been here twice and didn't even get anything alcoholic to drink because I'm pregnant, but the food is good enough to keep me coming back! The Club Sandwich, the IPA sandwich, Soft Pretzel, and the potato salad were all delicious. It's a kid friendly taproom which is nice, and also dog friendly for the outdoor seating. The wait staff was also super friendly and great for both visits. Can't wait til I can come back and actually try some of the beer.

En serio, pasa (o anda en bicicleta o camina)(Original)Had a great time tonight at The Tap House. We live in St.Elmo, and I can’t tell you how nice it is to be able to ride your bike or walk to a neighborhood restaurant. They have great food and a nice selection of beers on tap (it is the Tap House 😂). My husband enjoyed his Southern Burger with pimento cheese. If you aren’t from the South, you definitely should try it! We love their potato wedges and my go to is their Brunch Salad, with grilled chicken. They have great happy hour prices, and weekly specials. One thing we also appreciate is the background music is just that…background, so we could actually carry on a conversation. Parking is free, just take a pic of the QR code in the parking lot, add your license plate info and the host will provide the code for free parking. Seriously, stop on in ( or ride your bike, or stroll )

¡No te lo pierdas!(Original)This is a great brewpub if you're looking for somewhere to eat after being a tourist. Good beer and love the casual atmosphere. The food has gotten a bit less than great lately, plus no more tots. I ordered a Reuben this past weekend and was pretty disappointed. This sandwich had just 3 of the thinnest slices of corned beef on it. I don't expect it to be NYC-deli stacked or anything, but it's clear their focus here is cost savings or something.

We were visiting Chattanooga for the weekend and were looking for places to eat. Several places were either closed on a Sunday or some closed permanently without proper Google updated info.We settled on The Tap House. We walked in with our shorts and Bucee’s sweatshirts and immediately looked out of place. The food was very good. I ordered a pimento bacon burger. It was stellar. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Served with shoestring fries it was delicious.Staff was wonderful. Everything was great. Seemed a little pricey for what I wanted to spend, but so is the world right now.Great place just be a little aware of dress. No official dress code, but we clearly felt out of place.

This seems like a solid choice for people looking for a bite or a beer. The service we experienced was nice and helpful, and they validated parking which was a good touch. My reason for 4 stars is more based on personal taste for the drinks- unfortunately I wasnt a fan. I tried a sour, cider and seltzer, and to me, all of them tasted strange. The sour in particular, while very tart (which I like) didn't have much flavor and the seltzer tasted like medicine. This is obviously a personal opinion, so take as you will. I did taste a couple of the porters/stouts from my partner's flight and those were more palatable. If possible, I'd suggest polling the crowd on the "non traditional beer" draft options and see if others feel the same way I do...

We stopped in after riding the incline. The food was awesome!! Best beer cheese and pimento cheese I've ever had. The soda doesn't taste dirty. They have a huge selection of craft beers and a couple cbd options. Auburn was our waitress. She was so sweet and even made a couple local suggestions for us. We will definitely be back.

No hice. Y realmente desearía haber pedido solo media libra. Simplemente no eran buenos. La salsa les pesaba.(Original)A quick edit: Chris, from the Tap House wrote one of the best responses to my review I have ever seen. He was not defensive. I added a star.Cold and a bit depressing inside with a server who is not knowledgeable about the beers. Why three stars?1. I’m sure this place is packed and lively in the evening, but I came in on Friday around 1 PM, and it was really empty and cold. I know that this is an older building with high ceilings and glass windows, but it was freezing. I probably should’ve just left, but I thought once I had a beer and some food in me, I would warm up. I did not. It was really chilly the entire time.2. I will say my server was initially attentive. She was very nice. But it was only me and two other tables…the entire time. And she just didn’t appear again except to bring the food. The place had only three seated tables out of several, and two people working, thus, the server should’ve been much more present. (See the photo I took of no one behind the bar). Later, I saw the two servers way off to the side, talking to each other, behind the bar. But if you’re looking to catch a server’s eye to refill water or anything else, it’s really awkward when you have to go up and start looking around for her. At a minimum, I should not have to be flagging her down, very, very minimum she should at least be visible somewhere in the restaurant so that if I do have to walk around, I can find her.She asked me what I wanted to drink, and then disappeared, did not offer much advice on the beer at all, even though I told her I was from Asheville (a big beer town) and I asked if she had any High gravity, and she said,“just scan the QR code.” I told her what type of beer I liked, and I asked for suggestions, and again she said, “Scan it and you’ll see a list.” She wasn’t offering any advice on any beers and I found it really unusual in a bar that is so beer focused…And so empty. It’s not as if she had to rush off to a bunch of other tables. I really expect my bartenders/servers (at a place known for beers) to say “this has some undertones of this” or “this one’s a little grassy“ or “this is a nice hoppy IPA, but it’s a bit cloudy.“ But she wanted me to do my own research and just told me to scan the QR code. Again, with no one here, she could’ve walked me through some of the beers. Since I did not have any recommendations, I thought I would have a flight, and even then, when I was saying, “what about this one?” she told me to write down the numbers. Maybe I’m spoiled from living in Asheville, but I am really accustomed to the bartenders telling me the details about the beers when I ask a question. And this is a place that… does… Beers. I just really expected to have a conversation about it, and that’s one of the reasons I came in. The server seem to know absolutely nothing about the offerings.3. Terrible Wi-Fi. It is free Wi-Fi, but the entire time I had less than one bar. It made it tricky, because I needed to contact a couple of people and get a few things done, but it was really really bad Wi-Fi. I know this is not a business or a café or people that come to get the work done, but hopefully with the Wi-Fi you should have at least two bars.4. Food. Here is the real reason for three stars. I really did not enjoy the food. I would never give a three star review to a place just because the Wi-Fi was spotty and it was cold. Or even if the server was not knowledgeable. But the food was really disappointing. I ordered the boneless wings, and the barbecue sauce that covered them seemed rather generic, and they felt a bit soggy and they were cold! The blue cheese was runny and not chunky and they were $20! For a pound basket. I ordered a pound so I could have some to take home. And I really wish I had only ordered a half a pound. They just weren’t good. I’ve had boneless wings all over the place, and these tasted like something that you would get that were frozen and then thawed out and just slathered in some sauce. The sauce was too heavy, the wings were not crispy and good. The sauce weighed them down.

My review is purely because of the service. I’ve never left a negative review before at a restaurant & hardly use google reviews. But the service was so so rude, it rattled me! Put me in a bad mood on an otherwise fabulous day! My two person table in my larger party didn’t have any seats. I ask the bar if I can use one of the free stools as suggested by my party. The bartender was cold & waved me off to the front. So I go to a separate party and ask if I may use one of their free stools. They say it’s yes. Two minutes later, one of the waitresses rushes to my table to scold me in the most rude manner. I tried to tell her I asked & had no seat & she interrupts me to quietly yell at me more in the most condescending manner. I’ve worked in the the service industry & currently work in the service industry as a second job—this behavior & attitude from staff was entirely unprompted, unprofessional & rude. I had people that were directly there & heard. Safe to say our joke was about when she said “for the next time,” we all said what next time.

Forgot to leave a review of this place. Went a few months ago, had a great reuben here and several good beer! Spent some time outside and then inside (because of weather) and I enjoyed both areas. Great place for lunch but also a great place to hang out and drink a few beers.

Great place to grab a burger and a brew! It had been a while since we last came here, so we decided to check them out for Chattanooga Burger Week, and we are glad we did. We each had the featured burger, "The Tipsy Tapster." Wow! It was delicious! The kitchen was quick, and the food was hot. The beers were tasty, just right to pair with the burger. But the MAIN reason I'm giving this five stars is because the staff there was excellent!!! We never felt as though we were ignored OR bothered. Plates were removed quickly, and each staff member we interacted with made us feel so welcome as if we were their friends and they cared about us. That's a difficult thing to accomplish in one staff member, but in all of them, it's amazing! Stop by and check them out; you'll be glad you did.

The Tap Room name is a bit ambiguous..... In addition to an amazing beer selection is a complete full bar with professional bar tenders that know how to make. Perfect pour.... Maddie, our server was attentive and doubled as a Chattanooga tour guide.... Great food and beverage, awesome service and atmosphere!

We (my friend and I) were on a multi-state, road trip, visiting different craft houses and breweries, collecting T-shirts along the way. We were really excited to detour through the little town of St. Elmo to visit your establishment, support our veterans and add to our collection of memories. Although the service and food were great we were extremely disappointed that we were unable to take home a T-shirt as a memory. There were very, very, few to choose from, mainly XS or 3XL. Both my friend and myself were excited to take home the red Tap House (Tri-Star) shirt as a great, fun memory, but there were none available - in fact there weren't any in any color in size XL.Please, please, please order more and if possible let me know when available as I would love to be able to order one on-line to be delivered to Texas.
