Elm Street Diner is a beloved family-owned establishment that serves up a delightful mix of Greek and American cuisine in a cozy setting. Recently featured on the Cooking Channel, this popular diner now offers outdoor dining for the first time, providing around 32 seats for guests to enjoy their extravagant IG specials, waffle towers, shakes, and traditional favorites. Additionally, they provide delivery and curbside pick-up options along with decorate-your-own donut and waffle kits.
I kinda got here a little close to closing time. However I wasn't able to indulge in the milkshake with all the fixings. Other than that, the food was very good and I mean very good here. All of the food had great presentation. I would strongly recommend dining here if u haven't already. Worth every penny in my opinion.

We drove all the way from Montreal in Canada 🇨🇦.We loved our experience! Service was impeccable and 10/10. Food was delicious. They have amazing staffs; very friendly and attentive. When I first walked into this diner I noticed that aesthetic was top notch. Then we got to choose our seat, which was amazing. we didn’t wait that long for food I recommend the Nutella pancakes with the strawberries and bananas which has whipped cream, bacon and eggs. I definitely recommend.

While most places that claim to be highly instagrammable they often have sub par food. Not at Elm Street Diner. Food is fairly innovative for brunch foods and while it was too early for us to have one of their sundaes / shakes they were really incredibly made.Crowd was diverse and seemed all enjoyed, across age and demographics. Will definitely have to stop here again for the next trip.

The food is delicious 🤤 I was so full but couldn't help myself. Service was great they were fast, friendly, and gave us a recommendation of this wrap shown and wow it's huge could definitely feed two or more. Bathrooms and place is clean they have a huge selection for deserts milkshakes great for birthday celebration my son loved his treat. Little pricey $21 for a milkshake but it fed everyone it wasnt your original milkshake it had donuts, candy, half a slice of red velvet cake, whipped cream, and they provided birthday candle

A very nice diner, really liked the decor and seating. We ordered and our food came out quick. Can definitely share the plate. My sister enjoyed her short rib burrito and my Mac and cheese burger was perfect. We shared the Buffalo chicken Mac and Cheese fries. Those were so good.

Heard so much about this place so decided to go there. Drove 2 hours to get there and I can say that drive was worth it. The wait for us wasn’t that long. Their shake station was very cute. So we had Lobster Mac N Cheese, Philly Cheesesteak Friday, The Cowboy Burrito and Milkshake. Everything was tasty. Marvin was very knowledgeable and friendly. We started to order so many foods but he suggested us not to get too much food because the portion is big. Which shows they really care about their customer experience and want them to enjoy their food. He customized our milkshakes and also gave me a souvenir. It was very sweet of him. Cant wait to go back and try more of their dishes.

I came where with my daughter aka the young foodie. This was our first time here and we had a great experience. The staff was top notch, from the person who seated us (didn't get his name), my server Victor and then to the manager / owner I met Don. They were all friendly, patient and accommodating especially since this was our first time here. Now on to the food. The portions were huge and for the money completely worth it.We ordered:Cheesy vodka garlic bread - $10 = 8/10Fried chicken big Mac quesadilla - $25 = 9.5/10 (doesn't come with fries, but it's huge so it doesn't need to)Chicken cutlet vodka mozzarella sandwich with fries $21 9.5/10They even treated us to their fresh homemade donuts. Wow, so fresh, not too sweet and they were delicious. And we got two of the little syrups as souvenirs. Very cute! Both of us were completely satisfied, my daughter was definitely stuffed all day and me too. Also, had I had leftovers for 2 days.We came here at around 2pm, no one was there which was great. That might be the sweet spot. Food did take a little longer to come, but it was completely fine because of the portion sizes. We understood it takes time to cook. There is a good sized parking lot, which was a little hidden if follow the Apple Maps navigation. It's around back from where it drops you. Will definitely be back again! :-) We highly recommend coming here.

So yes two stars because service was THAT bad!We drove 2 hours ( one hour because of traffic) to take my husband for his birthday dinner.... we were extremely excited because we had seen so many tick tock and Instagram posts about how amazing it was.... We were seated within 15 minutes of arriving but that is when the service got weird.... we had not even got our butt completely in the seat when the waiter asked what we wanted for drinks..... We had no idea what the options were, everything we asked if they had all he said in return was " Pepsi" ok well I guess we will all have Pepsi.... He brought them and practically slammed them on the table... Each one splashing out. And he asked then what we wanted to order.... so we just said we are not ready yet.... well that was a big mistake because it took us literally 18 minutes to get him to come back and take our order..... Ok so now order is placed and we are waiting to be served, my oldest son excused himself from the table and went to quietly order one of their crazy cake milkshakes to come as a surprise after our dinner.... my son was trying to hide this from my husband and the waiter walked back to our table and asked out loud at the table what type of cake we wanted, my 20 year old son stood back with the biggest look of disappointment 😞 anyway..... The request was for a big birthday surprise of a lot of chocolate..... About 5-8 minutes later here comes the whole staff with our ice cream order singing happy birthday..... We still haven't even got our food 🤦♀️ I asked for the manager and had them take it away..... To make a really long story a tad shorter.... We had to wave our waiter down just to get drink refills... Again to get Togo containers.... again for the check ..... So $126.50 bill for four later and no dessert because we just didn't want to wait any longer for them to redo it and it possible not be chocolate like we wanted.. ..Our meals were very good!!! But service was so bad I doubt we will bother trying again anytime soonDon't forget to check out the pictures to see the 30 birthday dessert that was supposed to be chocolate and come after dinner.... its friggin cool looking though isn't it?!

Drove from Jersey to experience what I always see on Instagram. It definitely lives up to its hype. Some of the tastiest lobster mac and cheese that I've ever had. The crazy cake shake is definitely worth sharing. So glad to patiently wait in that long line out in the hot sun for a table.

UNBELIEVABLE! Believe the hype!!! Took a ride from Queens NY just to have breakfast here. So many amazing choices. It had to be the hardest decision I had to make in a while when eating out! Definitely will be back to try other options.

Great customer service. My husband had the chicken Parmesan vodka sauce wedge sandwich very flavorful. All the portions are huge especially the social media ones.I had the taco pancakes with pork belly - flavor left a little more to be desired, but was what was described.Recommend social media waffles and chicken - fried chicken very moist. They take awhile to bring the food out but if that means it’s fresh it’s worth it.Social media milkshakes -cake shake - is pretty cool - must have for birthday!! Everyone can grab a dessert off of it and share. Our waiter was patient, friendly and very attentive.About 20 minute wait on a rainy Saturday at 3:00pm.

We came from 1 hour and 45 minutes away to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday because we heard it was delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out. They have lots of staff so everyone is on top of everything at all times, and everyone is friendly. The food is amazing. They had great music playing and the decorations were beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Our experience was great overall, and the Nutella pancakes were definitely the best way to wrap up our meal. The steak on our potato skins however, lacked in seasoning. I hope they fix that in the future as this dish is meant to be a special. Otherwise, keep up the great work guys!

Stopped her for the first time. We got her on a Saturday night at 6:30. It was definitely busy. You can't wait inside to be seated you have to stand outside with the rest of the people also waiting to get in. Then they come out and get you. It was busy to expect the wait to be long. I noticed for the people waiting the longest they gave out pieces of cake as a kind gesture. We did wait over an hour for our food for a party of 4. They did bring us a slice of red velvet cake, which was nice! The food wasn't bad, it was diner food with a flare. They take the extra step and elevate the dish by adding sauces to the syringe. I also saw some pretty insane pancake dishes as well...I don't think my teeth would appreciate that but people sure enjoyed it. We ordered the following...hot honey chicken burger, California ranch wrap, Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese wrap, kids Spaghetti and meatballs. A round of water and two regular milkshakes. We didn't have room for the giant ones. And yes they are completely massive!!

One of my bestfriend mentioned to me about this place. We were supposed to come here when we moved in our son to his College. Unfortunately, they were closed at that time so we decided to just bring my son for his 18th birthday yesterday. We came half hour before the closing time (and it was our mistake for not checking the hours) and I could see now why parking was hard to find around the area and why people would drive 2 hours or more just to come here. The line was looong. I was 100% sure that we will not be able to get in considering that it was really close to closing time but we made it!! Even if it was extremely busy, the staff worked very hard to give their customers 100% satisfaction. They were very attentive to us. The ginger ale we asked was less carbonated and little sweet but still will not be a reason for us to complain because the waiter fixed the issue, honored the drink to be replaced. Food, as you see have 100+% when it comes to presentation and plating...taste, my mouth happy, my belly happy! Huge portions...so be prepared to come there hungry. Nevertheless, each one of us had a take home. We were the last customer there and they didn't rushed us to leave which we were thankful. Environment clean, all staff were friendly and respectful. Will definitely come back again and highly recommend!

Several people sent me reels from that place so planned a trip from Toronto to NYC and Boston to include the diner.Went on Monday morning when they just opened after renovations.I’ve seen some people mentioned service but maybe because we were early but service was amazing. Guys working there were all friendly and helpful. Ordered birthday bowl milkshake for me and my son (our birthdays were a week before that and extended our celebration a bit 🥰).Food was amazing! Portions are huge so was hard to eat it all.Would love if they had sampler option on the menu to try several things at once, just saying.Atmosphere was super nice. Would totally stop there again when in the area.

This place was amazing. The food here is ti die for. I had the breakfast quesadilla and my man had the breakfast tacos and when I say it was so delicious. The tortilla I had was freshly made. The syrup was very tasty. The amount of food we received on the plate was great. Our server was friendly. Overall this place is worth coming from NYC to try.

Elm Street Restaurant is a great choice for brunch. The trilled corned beef hash is a standout dish, and the overall food quality is high. The inviting atmosphere enhances the brunch experience, though it might be a bit on the expensive side. If you’re looking for a tasty and enjoyable brunch spot, it’s definitely worth a try.

I had the short rib mac & cheese quesadilla, and it was delicious. I almost wish I got the lobster mac quesadilla, too. I asked the waiter if the fries were seasoned and he said, try the waffle fries. I'm not a fan, but bc he said they were seasoned I ordered them. Big mistake... not a pinch v seasoning, they were overcooked and uneven. Some were cooked just right, others were not. The calamari wasn't seasoned either and that was disappointing. They weren't rubbery and they included the tentacles, some places serve rubbery calamari and nobody wants that. Seasoning would've made the fried items so much better. It's a turnoff popping calamari in your mouth and tasting grease (unseasoned hard flour or batter) not sure how they prepared it. If I'm ever taken there again, I would bring my own seasoning.

It's no surprise how busy this place was, but it was well worth it! The food, atmosphere, service, everything was amazing. Portions were well worth the price. Huge menu variety as well. There was a line out the door waiting to be seated, but again, worth it. We did an over 2 hour drive to check this place out, and we plan on doing it again.

Instagrammable and extreme, doesn’t mean it’s good quality flavor, sometimes less is more. Many options and it’s a Stamford staple, but the salad was not great. My significant other ordered something ridiculous… portions are huge, you can get not huge… but that doesn’t mean it will be flavorful. We were given complimentary donuts, but it wasn’t necessary. A diabetics nightmare. Servers were busy looking out the window, even when it was a packed house.

My boyfriend and I traveled from Upstate New York to visit this diner. We have been following them on Instagram for almost a year and decided we wanted to visit. This was hands down the best dining experience I have ever had. The food really is as amazing as it looks online and tastes phenomenal. I was blown away by how attentive and friendly the service staff was. Even with a crowd full of people we received our food in 10 minutes or less. I will surely recommend this place to anyone and hope to be back again! Featured photos include the Nutella Oreo Churro French Toast, the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cake Shake, the Chicken & Mac n Cheese Stacked Burrito, the Cheeseburger Stacked Burrito, the Classic Pancake Tacos and the Short Rib Pancake Tacos.

An absolutely fabulous experience! We had a large group and were seated quickly, despite the no reservations policy. Rafael, our server, was quick and efficient-- and kept the bottomless Mimosas FULL! Definitely go bottomless if you want more than two (even though the specialty cocktails are fantastic, especially the one with cotton candy). Food was hot, fresh, crispy, and delicious. They started us with a little amuse bouche of Nutella donuts. 100% worth the hype!

Creative, and maximalist food; especially the dessert options. All the food tastes exactly how it looks… absolutely delicious. There are no specific conditions for the waffle tower you can simply tell the waiter and they will create whatever you have in mind.Wonderful staff and service especially considering we came near closing.#1 dessert in CT

Seemed they started to die down a bit.Seemed to be very busy around 10-12Big parking lot in the back , there was a spot right away. During peak times I imagine it fills up quick. Will be returning!

Read all the hype about this Diner. Disappointed by the service and layout of restaurant. It was 12:30 on a Monday and the restaurant was not overly busy, we waited 10 mins to be acknowledged, no lines to be seated, there were plenty of available tables, so I don't know why we were seated within feet away from the restrooms. It was uncomfortable for people using the restrooms and it was uncomfortable for us watching them going in and out. A simple partition would be ideal. Waited 20 minutes to get service. I had to flag down the manager to get a waiter over to our table. Food was good and good size portions, coffee was watered down and weak. Soda has more sugar syrup than fizz. Meal with tip came to $66 so definitely not a price worth coming back to. I had to flag down the busboy to find me a waiter to give me a check. Then when I asked for my coffee to be refilled, he look surprised but it's $4 for the bottomless coffee and I only got one cup! Then he came back with the coffee pot. Annoyed and I had warm temperature coffee. I think the good reviews the big display were for ice cream waffles. Service was good to particular race but definitely not all customers. Needs to do better in service.

I'd seen it on tiktok, so I packed up my family and we went to experience it for ourselves, we parked out back plenty of space, we walked in barely greeted, we were say in a dark corner right near the exit, even tho there were better brighter areas, took a while for the waiter to get menus. Then a min after handing them to us, we were asked if we were ready, we were not. 1 min later again, I asked if he was in a rush he said no... but an attitude was apparent, and just I as I assumed he punished us, he made us wait more than 10 min before he came back.My kids and I ordered. While my daughter liked the meatballs, my son was not happy with the melt, my steak was small and tasteless, no love applied. The ice tea was not good but I think it's the water..So If you need a big splashy birthday shake this is the place, but a nice family dinner, I can't recommend it, there's room for improvement, maybe I'll go back one day to see if things have changed.

Eve since we saw the waffle tower. We wanted to go. Today we went and had a waffle tower and the cheese burger chicken bacon sandwich. The burger was great. They hid the onions. Really enjoyed the waffle tower. So satisfying. Just have to make sure you have the ice cream with the rest of it.The only negative was the service. They were very friendly, but didn’t check to see if everything was okay until we were ready for the check. Had an empty glass of soda too.

I wasn't really impressed with Elm Street Diner. I honestly had 0 expectations going in to this restaurant. I'm really disappointed in the insane amount of food wasted by people eating here. I'd see people getting multiple plates of food, taking pictures and then letting it get thrown in the trash. That is no fault to the restaurant itself, that's why I still gave this diner 4 starts. The food is actually pretty good! I had the Black Mamba and my bf had he Hot Honey Fried Chicken. We also were given some little Nutella Donuts on the house which was super nice and they were really good tasting as well! And because we are not really over the top desert orderers, we ordered just a simple milkshake that was also pretty good. Would I come back? Probably not... But that doesn't mean you should not try it out! It's just not really our kind of scene. But if you love ordering outrageous looking food items to take pictures/videos of, that's great! But for heaven's sake, take the leftovers in a to-go box, eat it later or give it to someone on the street that may be hungry.
