Wonderful zoo spanning over 200 acres , they try to maintain well but sometimes lag due to public non-cooperation, animals are fed well and are in good shape. The infrastructure and canteen facilities can be improved a bit. Best time to visit is early in the morning when the environment is calm but you can expect more crowd coming after 12 PM.PROS: prime location , environment and neatness , fares.Cons: Limited product's in canteen , lack of proper maintenance of washrooms.

The place is so big it is ridiculous.It never knew about the Safari inside. it came as a happy surprise.Actually it is the highlight of the zoo.Also the deer park is breathtaking.The elephants were very shy though but it's okay it was afternoon when we went there.It was an amazing experience. Worth my time. Although the Hyena enclosure should be redesigned it was almost open for the animal to get out and start eating people which is only entertaining in films.

Great place for kids. A must getaway for nature lovers. It has got all noted animals. BOV, Boating, Toy train, Safari, AC bus safari are the means of travel inside Park. You can also walk all along. Sign boards are helpful.Try this if you got time of an hour to a day. You won’t regret.

I liked this place for spending time with family , friends. Here all type of animals were not available(lion,tiger, birds,peacock, giraffe, snakes, tortoise,rabbit ,elephant are available). Infrastructure is good. They are maintaining well. Inside park you can travel by train or vehicle(they are providing with cost). If you wanna visit with family or friends for spending time it is good place for that.

Very well maintained and organized. The electric vehicles are also managed appropriately.I really liked that they have strictly banned plastic inside the zoo.The zoo is huge and it's better to roam it in parts. A day it's at least required to visit this zoo.

The place is well-maintained, a nice place to visit with young kids and younger adults. It is always a welcome place that accentuates the enthusiasm within their thought processes.People who visit the place should also be responsible for the cleanliness of the place, but it isn't the case with many of the visitors. Hiking the entrance price might be one of the ways to avoid such people entering the premises.

I had a good time at the zoo. It is quite large and may take 4-5 hours to complete if walking. Arriving early will provide parking space, as latecomers might have a long walk back to their cars. Weekdays are the best time to visit. The zoo features a wide variety of birds and animals. We didn't have the energy for the safari tour due to long que.It's a good place to spend some time with nature.Also the management can be improved, it took us time to figure out the order and map placements are also kept in an odd place.

There are two points I would like to let you know about the Zoological park. One is the animals here are healthy and they follow strict care it seems. And the other thing is for the safari ride, there is no proper management system. You need to wait for hours even if you've booked your tickets online and you exactly know how it would be in our country when waiting in queue. All the people will push us and make us more frustrated, that thing annoys a person who went to enjoy the ride. I highly request the management or the government or the sponsorship members to kindly rectify this issue. When the public walk-in is more and this is a place where everyone wants to enjoy the moments things like these will ruin the overall experience. Rectifying this issue will be of a high help. And secondly, the care and space provided for animals could be improved, there is no proper space for them to walk and feel free. Either necessary improvements in geographical area wise can be made for the betterment in the future. We always need to take more care and pay close attention to these wild animals as they are becoming extinct due to various illegal activities across the world. I really hope I can see a slight change in the future.

Huge zoological park with variety of animals and birds. Nocturnal house is also good, but a separate entry fees to be paid. There are facilities for electric vehicle ride / road train ride to cover the zoo. Toy train is also an attraction. There were no apes/monkeys when we visited and only 2 tortoise, which could be added. Definitely worth the price of 70 on weekdays and 80 on weekends, and good place to take kids to. There are 2 food courts that offer both veg and non veg options, one could be found halfway through the zoo , and the other near the exit.

Awesome experience. I heard people saying it is not good, but in contrast, it's an awesome place for families to visit. Management has taken care of NO PLASTIC very well. Except for the toilets, everything is very well maintained.Animals are healthy. Safari is great. Overall satisfaction is 2/5. Don’t take BOP vehicles because service quality is very poor. There are treating visitors as if the service is free. Zoo is very small area. You can walk all the points with kids as well. There is 100-150 metres distance between two points. You can rest and walk at ease if you come in the morning. There’s no courtesy or customer friendly atmosphere by the staff working in the zoo. There are few animals. There’s no tiger which is why visitors come to zoo to see. If the zoo has no national animal, then it is waste of time. Just visit once with kids to show the animals. If you are serious to see tiger and other animals, better to go forest reserve.Parking is good. Roads leading to the zoo are in pathetic condition. Never go to zoo if it rains - all roads will be flooded with the rain water.Reputation of zoo is at stake. State government should school the staff.Authorities should work responsibly and morally to give visitors a pleasant experience. Chalta hai! Attitude should be gone else many people stop coming to this zoo soon.

I'll attach the pricing that I received 💰📄.🎟️ I purchased the entry ticket 🚪, dedicated buggy pricing 🚐, reptile park 🐍🦎, nocturnal animals park 🦉🦇, and aquarium tickets 🐠🐟. Entering the park is a little difficult as you can't take any plastic items inside 🚫🥤. I had to remove all plastic items and leave them outside 🧳, then put the snacks into a paper bag which they sell for ₹10 🛍️, as seen in the video below 📹.Then, moving on 🚶‍♂️, I took the dedicated buggy and saw a lot of animals 🐒🦒🦛🦓. I also got a chance to see a snake attacking and eating a rat 🐍🐀, which I have uploaded to my YouTube video below 🎥.Overall, this place was well-maintained and absolutely perfect for kids 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👍.I would suggest visiting here and enjoying it with your kids 🏞️😊. Very nice place to visit but the only problem is to crowded place and not much to eat between. Also if you prefer to walk then please check for road map you might miss some crucial animals and you might have to revisit to see them again.One of the best place for kids to enjoy. This Zoo park is maintaining good cleaning atmosphere. They banned plastic items which is appreciated. They are ensure clean the place as well. Kids enjoyed a lot here. Visited Bengal Tiger, Lion, Hippopotamus, fox, , specially butterfly garden is very nice Used Battery operated vehicle inside the zoo. It is convenient for the people who have kids. They ride the vehicle with low speed and explained about places. Overall it was good place for spending time with family. Big park but very poorly maintained. Not as per the hype. Most of the cages were empty and dirty. Grass area was also not maintained for sitting.Covid awareness is decent. I would say The Nehru zoo is one of the 5 best places you can visit in Hyderabad. It's a great place to spend a day with family/friends. Watching wonderful animals up close is an incredible experience. The park is neat and clean. There are garden areas designated for picnic/simply relaxing. The big predator cats, The nocturnal park, The fossil park, The reptile park are amazing. Not to miss are also the Elephants, Giraffe, Rhino, Hippo and the Ostrich! If you're lucky, you'll see the white tigers swimming!! A Perfect place to spend a day especially in winter season. Plan your trip anyday except on Mondays as the park remains closed that day for maintenance. Also make sure you don't carry any plastic bags or containers or bottles as they are strictly not allowed. You can carry cloth/paper bags, steel boxes/containers for food and water.

Great place to visit for the weekend. Try to reach there before 10 because the place gets crowded after 11. Get tickets for Battery operated vehicles also it is completely worth it if you have less time. Safari is not so worth it you can skip it but if you have time and have nothing to do you can try it.

Carry some towel , blanket to seat in gardens or lawn areas ( umbrella as its rainy season ) , not to forget water bottles, hats , glasses if required pretty much cover required things.4. Very big and nice zoo. They've organised each and every section whether it be reptiles, birds, wild animals, very nicely.It's so big and they have food stalls in the zoo so that you don't feel hungry and even if you don't take anything to eat you can always eat something inside.I saw a giraffe for the very first time in this zoo ;)

It's an amazing place for one day picknic. Park is universally accessible. There are lots of species of various animals and birds. Good space for animal lovers. Also,there are electric vehicle that can take you to one end of the park to another end and take back to the start point.

Nehru Zoological Park is good, but for few Birds and for few small animals they have put the glasses at the public view side. Which is not giving the clear visibility or giving our own reflection in the mirror. We have visited multiple zoos in Mysore and Bangalore but didn't find this type of protection animals which make for clear vision.

The zoo is good and enjoyable for kids. We can book entry tickets and other tickets like battery car, safari etc through the zoo app. Need separate tickets for aquarium, reptile park, safari etc. All these tickets can be added after reaching the spot. Safari is not great. Few animals are allowed to roam and all other animals are inside cage, even when we are inside caged van. Crowded after noon, best to visit during morning time.

The food court, food was really bad though. Don't try their rice items.I've missed a few places. As the zoo is spread over a very large area, it is recommended to use electric vehicles, especially for senior citizens. Recommended to opt for the Non-AC Safari bus, because the waiting time was very very long for the AC bus, during my visit. Better to carry your own food. Booking of all tickets, including Safari, can be made online in advance. One can find different species of Animals, Mammals, Birds, etc. One full day will be good, to cover the entire zoo. Plastic carry bags are not allowed inside the zoo.

Almost half a day is required to cover the zoo. Apart from the entry ticket, the safari and nocturnal animal house costs extra. Bags are not allowed inside the zoo and have to be kept in the clock room. You will be able to see deers, bears, tigers, lions, a variety of birds, rhino and many more.

It is a very well maintained zoo. I would recommend booking online tickets to avoid the queue at the entry gate. Battery Operated Vehicles are available that can be booked online. Also, food and water are available inside the zoo.

Good place to visit with family and kids. Always crowded. Entry fee is around Rs.80 per adults and around Rs.50 for kids. But the worst part is, you need to pay additional amount for certain enclosures. You can book the electric vehicles and the train ride for additional cost. It is well maintained but there are very limited animals and birds are available to watch compared to other zoo parks in the country. I share my experience1. you can buy tickets in advance through online by downloading the "Hyderabad Zoo Park" android app2. you can get wheel chair at the ticket check-in counter by paying 2000 R.S. cash, no online refundable amount, no charges only 2000, which is refundable3. you can take a train just entering into entrance gate 100mts or you can take electric vehicle by paying 90 r.s / head for adult and 60 r.s for child below 10 years. I recommend taking an electric bike it will be convenient .4. better to take food from home or you can take from outside the zoo park but it should be in cloth bags no plastic bags allowed inside.5. you can download the app for a better route map and others

Nothing is free except parking which comes along with entry ticket. Safari is the only good thing in the entire zoo. Seperate entry fee for nocturnal animals and Reptiles, not included in the entry fee. Queue management, BOP/Buggy operation is not at all good. Staff behaviour is not good and they don't check whether someone has taken ticket for BOP/Buggy ride, anyone and everyone can ride it. Worst part is the food options and quality that are available inside the zoo. If you are planning a whole day or planning to have lunch there, just get your own home cooked food and snacks. There are 2 food stalls, one is at toy train station (at the entrance) and the other is close to giraffe point.Non AC safari rides have shorter queues compared to AC safari rides on weekends.If you arrive the zoo post-lunch, it's better to complete safari first because safari closes by 5 PM.Extra fee for photography, if you carry a still camera/DSLR.Good things:Return the the empty plastic bottle and get 10 rupees back, if you buy packaged drinking water.Safari is a good betNeeds improvement:Queue management esp. at Safari ride.No. of buses for safari ride during weekends can be increased to avoid crazy long queues esp. The place was so overcrowded that we couldn't see anything properly, and even the birds and animals looked stressed and agitated by the insane number of people. The fact that booking is done online means they know exactly how many tickets are sold, but they irresponsibly kept accepting more bookings despite the chaos. It's pure mismanagement.Entry fee is ₹80 and we paid ₹110 for a battery-operated car, which was a complete scam. Every pickup point had huge, unruly crowds pushing to get into these cars. The management didn't bother increasing the car frequency to deal with the crowd. Worse, there was no staff oversight, and people without tickets were just hopping into the cars with no checks. It was a free-for-all.Honestly, don't even think about visiting this place on weekends or during festivals. The park will be packed with people, and you won't enjoy a thing. If you're serious about seeing the animals, go on a weekday — or better yet, don't bother at all."

Amazing experience !!!!!!Should start early if you wish to see all!If you start at 9am then by 5pm you can enjoy everything !!Star by arriving early and do not spend too much time for the first few animalsI would say go by walk because that is the best experienceYou won't be able to enjoy much with electric van or trainThat is why I would suggest to go by walkAnd keep some drinks to help yourself and be hydratedLunch can be done inside the zoo but you could also bring foodThere is a safari inside!!!They will take you by bus inside and show you different animals!!

I visited this place recently with my friends. There were a variety of birds we saw and then elephants,deer,rabbits, then we saw jaguar which just came out from its den. We waited for more time to see the lion but it didn't come out at least once from its den and it is roaring from inside its den. we also got a doubt that whether it is the lion which is roaring or the speaker😆.Just kidding....We also saw hippopotamus 🦛.I am seeing this animal for the first time, it's skin is so thick like rug..no...more than it.And...I thought that I will be able to see many animals but no, only elephant,jaguar,hippo.. I have seen.

Well maintained park. Recommended to use battery operated vehicles they provide because the park covers a vast area. Some points we couldn't visit because of time constraints. Safari is also recommended. We got to see lions, tigers, spotted deer, bears etc. but spotting these wild animals is not guaranteed. Drinking water facilities everywhere. Must include in your itinerary.

Nice place to visit with kids. Complete digital payments for tickets. Better to book tickets in NZP app available in Play Store. You can avail battery operated vehicle to visit the place by paying extra. Toy train is currently not working. Safari ride is also available. Back packs, cameras and packaged foods are not allowed.

Best and well maintained Zoo Park in India.Suggestions:- Very First, don't bring plastic items, they won't allow inside Park, if you bring them you have to submit at cloak room.- When you book online tickets, if it's not showing, then don't try to book again. You check in menu and open booked tickets, there you can find tickets.-Best time to visit is weekdays or week ends early in the morning 8 to 12. Morning time animals are active.-Don't start eating immediately after visiting the park. Prefe to walk.-Don't waste money on battery vehicles. it's a kind of punishment to wait for battery vehicles at every point. My experience here was great. Just that you won’t see sign boards on frequent intervals. So always carry a photo of the map which is displayed at the entrance. They have an application for online ticket booking which is really helpful to skip long queues and also you can add up a few visiting places at any point of time as well. The tiger and lion safari is amazing. Top notch. I recommend having it. Rest all places you can cover walking or they have battery operated cars which are useful but I’ll suggest having a nice walk around to explore it more.

Great place of outing for the family. Parking is a challenge on weekends or holidays. Better to reach early to be on a safer side. Also a bit difficult to get electric car for touring inside the zoo. The cages around the tiger are at a place where all can see. But it’s difficult to see them when sun is at peak. They generally are relaxing during sunny weather. Toy train is also available but have to wait for some time. Overall a worth visit.

We visited the zoo in the afternoon. Surprisingly, the atmosphere was pleasant and calming, and the well-maintained park offered three sightseeing options: toy train, battery vehicle, or walking. Offline ticket counters were available at the entry gate. We opted for the jungle safari, exploring restricted zones with open lion, tiger, and bear. The safari was thrilling, but be prepared to wait for ac bus . Our experience at Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad was enjoyable.😊

Weekend trip;naturally, there was a rush because of the time I went.Please use the internet to reserve your tickets. scanners available at the entrance.Avoid battery-powered vehicles as you will need to wait for them everywhere.waste of money to purchase tickets to the aquarium. Nothing within.Safari is good, It will take 15 to 20 minutes to get through Safari, which is fine.Although they have stated that a bike station will be present, it is not visible at that specific place.I think there might be a maintenance issue as toy train is unavailable.

The overall experience was good. Good for a family trip.Things to remember when you visit:-1. Visit at 9:00 AM, it will be less rush. If you visit after 11:00 AM, the place will be crowded.2. When you carry plastic bottles, they will give a tag for it which is 10 rs. When you show that again when exiting they will return back the money (This help reduce plastic)3. You need to pay for some extra places in the zoo and rides - like safari, toy train.The overall time should to visit all the places last 3hrs - 4hrs based on your energy.

The Zoo is massive, yeah if you visit each and every place you would have walked atleast 5 km.They have various animals and reptile, nocturnal park. Also most of the animals are sleeping if you visit after noon.I was not able to see any tigers because some work was going on in the tiger enclosure. I really wanted to see the white tiger.

There are many varieties of animals, the tigers, cheetah and some of the funny monkeys. Really it's the best place I think to chill out at weekends. We have to avoid bringing plastic items like covers, boxes, etc because mostly the security won't approve them inside the zoo. We have a small snack or lunch by bringing our own food, where we can have some fun time.
